Faculty and Students

One of the goals of the ATR NSUF is to facilitate the development of a network of university researchers to help advance the state-of-the-art in nuclear science and technology.

The ATR NSUF education program is the primary mechanism available to university faculty and students to participate in this developing network.  ATR NSUF offers opportunities for both faculty and students in a variety of programs directed toward fostering collaborative experiments, gaining valuable experience in working with national laboratory staff, and affording opportunities for interacting with researchers from other national laboratories and industry.  These programs include:

• University-led research proposals through the solicitation process
• Graduate and undergraduate internships
• Faculty Student Research Teams
• Post doctoral opportunities
• Users Week

We encourage you to click on the links in this page to learn more about the specific programs listed above and opportunities for participation in these programs.
